Full Credit/e-Learning - Online
This program is designed for students who need flexible hours and or locations but still wish access to a teacher if needed. This program is an asynchronous self-directed, teacher supported learning model. There is NO LIVE TEACHING. Students will have access to teacher support through email on weekdays during school hours. Students are responsible for providing their own electronic equipment and a stable internet connection (see technology notes in the FAQ).
Please note that due to current DDSB IT policies, students must be in Canada to access course materials and classes. Students attempting to login from another country will not have access to their courses, and will be unable to participate in eLearning programming.

Note: DCE does not have a direct registration application for students registered in a school/board outside of the DDSB. Registration for DDSB eLearning courses must be through the OeLC. Students need to speak to their home school guidance counsellor and request the registration through the OeLC waitlist for their chosen course. The OeLC distributes out of board students starting in May and into June. Students through the OeLC may be registered with a board other than the DDSB.
Registration Links
Students pre-registered for grade 9 in a DDSB Secondary School in September 2025 must contact their current board to determine availability of Reach Ahead Programming. DCE does not register active non-DDSB students directly.
