2025 Getting Ready for High School
The Getting Ready for High School (GR4HS) program is open to students entering grade 9 at DDSB secondary schools in September. It provides a brief introduction to the Grade 9 English and mathematics curriculum, as well as study skills, time management, and provides steps to success. The program also allows students to become familiar with their new school and prepares them for the transition from elementary school to secondary school.
Please note that due to current DDSB IT policies, students must be in Canada to access course materials and classes. Students attempting to login from another country will not have access to their courses, and will be unable to participate in eLearning programming.
**** Limited bussing is available for students attending Brock HS, Port Perry HS and Uxbridge SS. ****

Note: this program is open to students registered to attend a DDSB secondary school in grade 9 for next year. Current DDSB students register through myBlueprint and pre-registered students register directly through DCE with the link below.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Registration closes for this program August 8, 2025, at 12 NOON.
