Summer School Information

Important Information About Summer School 2020

With the continued closure of schools due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the summer programming offered by Durham Continuing Education (DCE) will look a little bit different as we implement flexible student learning opportunities. In order to support students and mitigate the impacts of the school closure period, DCE has expanded the existing eLearning offerings for students in Grades 9 to 12 to include Credit Recovery and Gap Closing/Upgrading. Programming for elementary students is also moving online or to a mixed delivery model. Unfortunately, some of our other regular face-to-face programs have been cancelled this year to ensure the safety of students and our staff.

eLearning Accelerated Courses - Registration is closed.

Courses in this program are recommended for current secondary students who wish to reach ahead in a subject they have not previously studied or wish to upgrade a mark in a course that they have *successfully completed. Click on the link below for more information.

*See the Credit Recovery & Gap Closing/Upgrading tab if you qualify for those programs.
