SMILE Program
Summer Meaningful Innovative Learning Experience is an in-person or online synchronous/real time program for students who have completed grade 6, 7, or 8 in the previous school year. The program teaches students science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Students will expand and build on the information learned in the previous school year. Students entering grade 9 will have an opportunity to prepare for the de-streamed curriculum. Full attendance is suggested to obtain the full benefit of the program. Students are responsible for providing their own electronic equipment and a stable internet connection (see technology notes in the FAQ).
