Credit Recovery - In-Person or Remote Learning
Courses in this program are designed for students (with home school approval) who, during the preceding two school years, have been unsuccessful in one or two subjects. It is the responsibility of students and their guidance counsellors to ensure that all requirements have been met before registering for credit recovery course. The student MUST take the same course grade and stream that was previously taken. Up to one credit will be granted for each course successfully completed at summer school. A maximum of two credits can be recovered during the summer session. Additional student support may be available through on-line academic tutors for select courses.

Course Dates and Times |
Credit Recovery courses run Monday through Friday and are semestered.
NEW - Classes will be online from 8:30 am to 2:15 pm. Students are expected to be in class/online during these hours. Semester 1 classes begin on July 6, 2022, and end on July 18, 2022.
Semester 1 Civics (CHV2OX) begins Wednesday July 6, 2022, and concludes Tuesday July 12, 2022, at 10:30 AM. Semester 2 Careers (GLC2OX) begins on Tuesday July 12, 2022, at 12:00 PM and concludes on Monday July 18, 2022.
Semester 2 Civics (CHV2OX) begins Tuesday July 19, 2022, and concludes Monday July 25, 2022, at 10:30 AM. Semester 2 Careers (GLC2OX) begins on Monday July 25, 2022, at 12:00 PM and concludes on Friday July 29, 2022. |

Current DDSB students enrolled in a Credit Recovery course CANNOT take any other course (except a second Credit Recovery OR Credit Upgrading course) in any other delivery model during the duration of the July 2022 program (i.e.,Learn@Home, eLearning full credit).
