This program is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and delivered tuition free to eligible adults. Childcare available for eligible participants.

Each student may be required to complete a Criminal Information request, at their own expense (approximately $20.00), and may also be required to complete a Medical Clearance.

If you do not have current CLBs, please book a free language assessment. CLBs are a requirement for the course and there will be a delay in getting an appointment, so please book right away if you are considering registering for a class. Eligibility  

To be eligible you must:

  • Attend an information session
  • Be 18 years of age or older and one of the following:
    • Be a Permanent Resident of Canada
    • Be a Convention refugee
    • Be a person in Canada in the process of becoming a Permanent Resident with a letter of Confirmation of Permanent Residence
    • Protected Persons
    • Have achieved a CLB 6 or higher
